DED Custom Target Systems LLC offers two portable target systems made right here in the USA for the paper shooter as well as the shooter who enjoys honing their skills shooting steel. These platforms offer good old American craftsmanship, and a unique design to bring you, the customer, a quality product that will last for many trouble-free years. We like to say, “your kids and theirs will shoot at these stands”.

“Stubby” is our compact stand and the smallest of the family, weighing only 18 lbs. and measuring 22” long 7.5” wide and 6” high when closed. This stand will fit easily behind the seat of your truck, or even the smallest car, allowing you to always have it with you for those precious times when you find yourself with some time on your hands. Go shooting. When It’s open it measures 22” long 22” wide and 8” high. Its elevated design gives it an extremely stable footprint for its size, and its push button design allows for easy set up and tear down in seconds. This unique design, that is exclusive to our stands, means everything is self-contained with no loose nuts, bolts or pins to mess with or lose. The feet are drilled, and stakes are provided for staking on those extremely windy days.

“Fatso” is the work horse of our versatile little family, capable of holding big hanging plates such as gongs and silhouettes, or enough paper to keep a family of four busy half a day. “Fatso” can now be outfitted with an optional adaptor to turn your stand into a static platform. Weighing in at a modest 23 lbs. and measuring 36” long, 7.5” wide and 6” high when closed. Even with it’s larger size this stand will fit easily in the trunk of your car for simple transportation to and from the range.

Once there the unique design that’s exclusive to our system allows for quick set up and take down with the push of a few buttons. Everything is self-contained meaning no nuts, bolts or pins to lose or misplace, ever. “Fatso” measures an impressive 36” long 36” wide and 8” high when open giving the shooter an extremely stable platform. Simply add your 1” x 3” lumber and your ready to go. The feet are drilled, and stakes are provided for stacking should you feel it necessary on those extremely windy days.

At DED we design our products with durability in mind, but accidents do happen. If something does happen to the stand, you run it over with your car or an errant shot damages it for example (yes, we all have that friend) don’t worry, it can be fixed.
